As you may know, the cost of the youth trips and retreats adds up, and for families with more than one youth, it can be overwhelming.  By supporting youth fundraisers you help the youth work to earn their way, and help offset the cost to their parents.  The vast majority of our active youth are too young to work outside the home.

THis is the breakdown of costs, which does not include cash they are expected to bring for food and incidentals:

VAUMC Fall Retreat:  $135

Winter Retreat:  $350+

Ski Trip:  $90

SPY (MIssion Trip):  $350

Confirmation Retreat:  $90 (one time only)

Other activities for which many families do not use fundraiser funds:

Amusement Park:  $35+

Rafting Trip:  $60

Awakening: $40
