COME JOIN US FOR A PATRIOTIC TIME AT THE LEESBURG 4TH OF JULY PARADE!!

LUMC and the Evangelism (LEI) Team is inviting all LUMC members to join us in representing our church for an exciting time as a participant in the Leesburg Town Parade!

WHEN:  Wednesday, July 4th at 9:30 a.m. (Participant Staging Time) 

WHERE:  Ida Lee Park front field, Leesburg, VA.

WHAT TO WEAR:  Participants will wear a white t-shirt with an iron-on LUMC logo  (provided by Pastor Jim Wishmyer) for the parade.  Iron-on logos will be passed out Sunday, June 24th, and applied to the front of your shirt. 

The back of the shirts will be decorated on Sunday, July 1st in Asbury Hall from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Stop by before or after the service with your own white t-shirt to decorate.  All painting supplies will be provided for you.

PARADE ACTIVITY: Participants will pass out spoons in the parade which can be redeemed for a free serving of ice cream at Asbury Hall following the parade. 

PARADE NEEDS:  If participants possess a white colored pick up truck, your presence is requested to drive in the parade.  We already have a blue and red one. 

Volunteers are needed to print the LUMC logo provided by Pastor Wishmyer on their ink jet printer.  The church will reimburse the cost of the ink.
